Remebering....  Most of you know I took care of my mom with Alzheimer's for about eight years before she had to go into an assisted living and just passed away last March. It was tough I can't lie, but it was also a lot of fun and there are a lot of memories that I have of the silly stuff that she would do. So this isn't to offend anyone of any race at any time but I'm going to tell you my mother was a huge racist. It's just the way I grew up thankfully I'm not that way. Before I begin I need to set the scene a little bit, this was before she had completely lost it at all and wanted to be independent. We walk into the Costco near our house and she is adamant about buying bed frames for both of my children. They have been just fine with box springs on the floor but apparently we needed these bed frames. I told her that we'd have to get someone to help us carry them out because they were going to be too heavy.  Being independent as she thought she was,...

No, they don't go out and play in it anymore, but they do enjoy watching it fall and taking advantage of college/high school closing.        I've been working on my colored pencil drawing. Welcome to my blog! I named it thus because I work two jobs simultaneously. I thought that was completely normal growing up, it's just what families did. The 80's were rough and you had to work two jobs to just put decent food on the table. I suppose that work ethic never left me. Being idle is something I cannot do. I've tried. I feel really strange even taking a day off to myself. Which is probably why I got into my 2nd job in the first place.  After all, it's about pampering yourself and relaxing. We're a wild bunch of women (and some men) who really care about our outsides and with my 1st job, I work with people's insides. In a way. I help coach them through life with my insight and intuition of my guiding team.  I've been really bad at keeping a blog in the past, but New Year, new goals right? Here we go!  I also am a professional artist. I don't really count that as a job though, so you'll be able to see my art work h...
